Our office is now allowed to reopen Monday, May 11. We will still have very strict directives from the Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners and CDC. We will have limited appointments available and will be seeing patients that are most urgent first. We look forward to seeing everyone soon and thank you all for your patience and understanding. March 23, 2020 COVID-19 Update Arkansas Dentistry As of last week, the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners asked for voluntary compliance from dental practitioners across the state to close to all non-emergent care in order to help prevent the spread COVID-19. Today, the Arkansas Department of Health issued a mandate for compliance for practitioners who had not already voluntarily shifted their practices until April 17th. The staff of Kent Leonard DDS wants everyone’...s dental care needs to be met in this time of uncertainty without displacing burden of care on our community’s health care workers at the frontlines. Though our office had already began implementing these guidelines last week in light of the new mandate it is necessary for our practice to focus on limiting in person care to emergencies at this time. Please reach out to us for dental emergencies instead of you general medical doctor. This gives them the time to address medical issues instead.
