We are celebrating Hispanic Heritage month! This is the time to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic Americans. During this month we also celebrate the Independence days of several Latin American countries that include Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua on September 15th and Mexico on September 16th. It was originally observed for 2 days when it was first started by President Lyndon B. Johnson, but it was later extended to a whole month in 1988 by President Reagan. Join us in celebrating these beautiful cultures!
