Due to the concerns we have about this Coronavirus situation, we have decided to limit what we do for the next week (at least). One of the big concerns about dentistry is the creation of aerosols when we use our handpieces(drills) or the tooth cleaning tools, which both can create those aerosols. We can cement a crown, or a loose temporary and certainly consult about dentistry that people would like to have. We want our patients and team members to stay healthy! Our standards of cleanliness and disinfection remain at the highest level!

With the heightened emphasis on flu and flu-like illnesses today, I wanted to share how we are using ozone at the office to help lower the odds of ANY disease transmission. Ozone is one of the most effective agents against disease causing "bugs" - like viruses and bacteria. We are using ozonated water in our dental waterlines to prevent any contamination AND to essentially wash a patient's mouth with a therapeutic dose of bacteria killing water (and no medicinal taste). I also have ozonated water running through a mister/humidifier and while I can't tell you it will help or prevent any disease, I know that it can only help do that, it won't do any harm! We want to keep our patients and team healthy!
