I woke up at 3am on a Saturday, in excruciating pain. I googled emergency dentist and randomly called some numbers with no luck. I was preparing to drive 3 hours north to my family in order to get some help when Dr. Poulos called me, without me having even left a message, to see if I needed an emergency dentist. He also text me asking need a dentist. I called him back and he said he could be there by 630. He was so fast and efficient, and he saved me thousands of dollars by n...ot going to the ER, where they would have just told me there was nothing they could do. I am so happy with the service I received here. He is a total lifesaver. I was on vacation over the Christmas holidays in Scottsdale and broke one tooth in half and another tooth fell out of my dentures. Upon calling the office on the Monday morning before Christmas Day, they got me in right away and arranged for the lab to pick up my dentures with the promise of getting them back later that day. The lab actually picked up my denture before I left the office. Later that afternoon they returned my dentures completely repaired. And, the price was more than reasonable and a complete surprise. Dr Paulos himself answered my direct call around 745 am and said, "Meet me in the office at 9 o'clock today." I expected him to triage my problem. After a single X-ray and hearing my history, he diagnosed my problem and performed a root canal I was not even someone who had been a patient there before. I had moved to this area 3 years ago but kept my dentist back in Washington, DC. I had outstanding emergency service by a wonderful, compassionate, highly skilled dentist and now I am pleased to be a patient of this practice. I called this office in extreme pain, super desperate, and in need of an extraction. Dr. Polous answered the phone personally and assured he could fit me in as an emergency. I called Dr. Poulus as i had loosened a crown at 7pm in the evening before leaving for a week-long trip. he had been out that evening but returned my call at 10pm. He informed me that i could use some super glue and it would hold for a couple days and i could see a dentist while on my trip. After returning home a visited the office and he cemented the crown back in place at a cost of 10. Having severe pain, I called MSD at 830 on Friday night just hoping to get in Saturday any time. Everyone knows the idea of seeing a dentist on a Saturday is practically impossible. 15 minutes later, DR Poulos called me back and arranged for my root canal 1st thing Saturday morning. Immediate relief Saturday morning...wow. Been to the office twice more. DR poulos is very engaging and caring. Worked with 3 different assistants who were very good and they seem to work seamlessly with the doctor. In addition , his office staff is pleasant and helpful. The impression given by eveyone is that MSD is a welcoming and efficient operation.
