In order to comply with yesterday's American Dental Association recommendation for dental offices to postpone non-emergency procedures, we will be closing the office for routine care until tentatively April 6th. Dr. B will be reachable for dental emergencies for existing patients. Voicemail messages will be checked and patients will be screened by phone to determine next steps for their dental emergency. If you have an upcoming appointment in the next few weeks, you will be... contacted by phone. This decision is heart wrenching to make, but as healthcare providers we must make an ethical choice to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus as much as we can. We pray for your understanding during these unprecedented times and we thank those who have accepted this with such grace towards us already as we’ve started to call patients. Our Response to COVID-19 To protect our staff and other patients, please call our office to reschedule your upcoming dental appointment IF you have had a fever or have had direct personal contact with someone with fever in the past 7 days. All patients and others accompanying them to the appointment will be screened with a forehead thermometer and rescheduled if showing fever higher than 99.5 degrees. We are taking every precaution to keep the office safe, including addition...al measures above and beyond our typical sterilization and disinfection protocols. These include: -High level surface disinfection of frequently touched items like doorknobs and counters -Removing toys and magazines from the waiting room -Implementing pre-procedure rinses that oxidize viruses in the saliva (Colgate Peroxyl) for all patients old enough to safely use mouthrinses. -Avoiding shaking hands or any non-gloved contact. -Wearing our masks during the full appointment including non-contact times. We want to reassure you that no members of our staff have traveled in the past 14 days, and that all employees have been asked to stay home if they display any symptoms of illness. We will follow all guidance that the CDC and the ADA release in the coming weeks.

Today marks our third anniversary as Bee Family Dentistry! I'm feeling so grateful today for our caring staff and excellent patients who have been with us along the journey. Happy Labor Day!! Our office is closed today and we hope you've enjoyed some rest and relaxation during this long weekend. Dr. Bee and her family spent the morning meeting the animals at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch!

Our beloved interpreter for our Burmese patients, Dim Muan, is moving to Kentucky. We wish her family all the best with their move, but we will all be missing her smile in the office!! @ Bee Family Dentistry
