At this very moment, every day heroes are continuing to battle the novel coronavirus on the front lines. We want to express our deepest gratitude and admiration to all those making sacrifices to save lives and keep us safe during this unprecedented time. I would also like to personally thank my team members for their dedication, commitment and courage as they continue to serve our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. These brave women have made an everlasting impact in our... community by providing a service to those in need. Here are a few of the comments we have received from those we have helped serve at their time of need. I was able to obtain an appointment in a timely manner, during a pandemic!!! This was truly a fun and enjoyable visit never said that before. Truly the best! I haven’t slept in days because of this tooth! My kids kept asking me why I was crying This tooth pain was worse than childbirth, thank you for getting me in and taking care of me! My tooth hurt so bad my general dentist had to come in and numb me because I didn’t know when you would be able to see me, thank you so much for getting me in this afternoon and getting me out of pain! I work at a hospital and knew there was nothing they could do to help me there!!! Dr. Homa saved my life!! I was so sick and in so much pain over the weekend and they worked me in on a Monday morning no questions. From the minute I walked in the door to the minute I left all I saw was smiles Y’all are amazing!!! Not once did I feel like a walk-in or that I was being rushed out. Dr Homa took the time to find the root of the problem. You guys genuinely cared and for that I can’t say thank you enough! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was in so much pain last night I considered calling 911 or trying to pull my tooth out myself (even though I didn’t want to lose my tooth), just to get the pain to stop. I can’t thank you enough for seeing me during this time. Our Boone Endodontics team wishes that you stay strong & stay safe!
Have a dental emergency! Go to an Endodontist first, not the Emergency Room or Urgent Care! With hospitals and emergency rooms overloaded during the course of COVID-19, Endodontic offices remain open for dental emergencies such as those that might require root canal treatment. If you are experiencing severe dental pain or dental infection symptoms such as swelling, please contact our office! Endodontists are root canal specialists trained in diagnosing and treating tooth pain.... Endodontists consider their role during this crisis vital in alleviating tooth pain, managing oral infections, and reducing the need for patients to seek emergency dental care at Emergency Rooms and Urgent Care facilities. It has been our pleasure at Boone Endodontics to help serve our community during this crisis.
Endodontic treatment can save a diseased tooth or treat abscessed, cracked, or traumatized teeth. Learn how Endodontists, the specialists in saving teeth, use advanced training, specialized techniques, and superior technologies to reinvent modern root canal treatment.
Endodontists (root canal specialists) are here to help! For many people, Endodontists are almost invisible, an unknown part of dentistry. That's why the American Association of Endodontists initiated Save Your Tooth Month more than a decade ago to help patients and dental professionals understand what Endodontists do to save your teeth, and to dispel myths about root canal treatment.
Our team at Boone Endodontics will continue to work very hard to ensure the health and safety of our patients! We would like to take this opportunity to share information about how to proceed if you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe out there, we are in the office if you need us, and remember.... stay calm and wash your hands!!!
Dear All, Patient and team member health and safety is always taken very seriously at Boone Endodontics. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation and will continue to operate on a normal schedule for now, but these hours could change based on how the situation progresses within our community. Our goal is to be proactive in helping the community to prevent and slow the spread of the coronavirus. We are encouraging our team members to s...tay home if they are not feeling well or have been possibly exposed to someone who is ill. We are also asking our patients to do the same. We ask that you please cancel your appointment if you can answer yes to any of the following questions: 1. Are you having flu-like symptoms such as cough, fever or shortness of breath? 2. In the last 30 days have you traveled to an area at high-risk for COVID19-transmission? 3. Have you been in close contact with anyone confirmed or being evaluated for COVID-19? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, please contact our office at (828) 386-1144 to reschedule your appointment. Also, if attending your scheduled appointment, we would like to limit visitors in our reception area and treatment rooms unless necessary. If a cell phone number of the visitor could be provided to us, we will be happy to provide any updates in this manner. Please note that in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, we have implemented procedures to use EPA-approved and registered disinfectant products for use against the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Frequently touched surfaces are disinfected daily throughout the office. Such surfaces include knobs/handles, light switches, desks, phones, computer keyboards and mouse, countertops, sinks, faucets, toilets and tables. Note that pens, TV remotes, and the bathroom key are being sanitized after every use. As always, each operatory is sanitized after each patient, and all dental instruments are sterilized after each patient use. An EPA-approved disinfectant spray is also being sprayed daily throughout the office. We have removed shared magazines from the reception area and operatories in addition to the TV remote and bathroom key from the reception area. Such steps have been taken to prevent cross contamination. Please let us know if you would like for us to change the channel or if you are in need of the bathroom key. We will continue to check for updated recommendations provided by the CDC and will continue to implement such recommended protocols at Boone Endodontics. Thank you for your cooperation. REMEMBER TO KEEP CALM AND WASH YOUR HANDS!! Take care and stay well! Boone Endodontics Team See more

Saving Your Natural Teeth From the mighty Redwoods to one’s grandfather’s watch, sometimes new is simply not better. Take our teeth, for instance: a gateway to nutrition, a sign of emotion, a signal of overall good health. You may think, why not have a tooth pulled, especially if no one can see it, but you will know your tooth is missing and it will negatively impact your quality of life and self-confidence. Missing teeth can negatively affect your speech, smile and abilit...y to chew. Surrounding teeth can also be impacted due to shifting and having to absorb more forces. Our natural teeth are worth saving. And teeth have a natural ally in the expertise and experience of Endodontists professionals dedicated to saving and optimizing one’s natural teeth. We have devoted an entire month to celebrating the importance of saving your natural teeth and recognizing the "savers" who make that possible: Endodontists. We encourage you to get into the spirit with us and spread the word in your community: Treasure your natural teeth!
Wonderful advancements have been made for Root Canal Treatment! Endodontists’ combination of advanced training, techniques and technologies improve patient comfort, ease anxiety and alleviate pain. By partnering with Endodontists, General dentists can help patients feel less anxious while delivering the highest quality of care. In fact, read the testimonial very recently shared by one of our awesome patients in regards to his root canal treatment experience. I was referred t...o Boone Endodontics by my primary Dentist for a pre-crown consultation. Having had a previous root canal on that tooth, I was extremely apprehensive and anxious, due to the original accident and procedure that followed 27 years earlier. From the moment I entered the office I was treated extremely well, spoken to respectfully, educated on all my options, and ultimately underwent retreatment with great success. The procedure was painless. I created the myth that all dental work in my future would be as bad as the original root canal. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I can’t thank Dr. Homa and Tracy enough for their excellent job in both the procedure and treatment but also keeping me calm and relaxed so they could get the job done. I am so pleased and relieved it is finished. They listen to killer music while working on you by the way. There also can’t be a friendlier person in Boone than Stephanie at the front desk, thanks for all the friendly reminders and mile wide smile. First time I have left a doctors office feeling like I made new friends..Thank you ladies. Patrick. See more
Why Celebrate Root Canals? It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s an endodontist , here to save your tooth! The beginning of a root canal procedure means the end of tooth pain. Scheduling root canal treatment with an Endodontist, a specialist with advanced training, means you’ll be meeting with a superhero of saving teeth.... During a root canal procedure, an Endodontist removes inflamed or infected pulp tissue, carefully cleans and shapes the inside of the root canal, then fills and seals the space. Afterward, you will return to your Dentist, who will place a crown or other restoration on the tooth to protect and restore it to full function. Save Your Tooth Month celebrates this tooth-saving procedure and the Endodontists responsible for saving teeth. This is where you citizen, patient come in. So join our legion and be an ambassador for restoring smiles everywhere!
It’s Save Your Tooth Month! Please join us! Boone Endodontics is taking part in Save Your Tooth Month, throughout May 2019. Save Your Tooth Month is a national effort to raise awareness of the role that Endodontists play in dental health and to teach the public that modern root canal treatment can comfortably preserve your natural tooth with virtually no pain. Boone Endodontics along with the American Association of Endodontists, wants to dispel the myths surrounding root canal treatment and encourage patients who need a root canal to see an Endodontist. The video below provides great information in regards to Endodontists and how their training and expertise makes them the best choice for saving your natural teeth. We hope you enjoy it!
