The Latest Covid-19 Information - 29th May 2020. National guidance has advised that dental practices are permitted to reopen from Monday 8th June on the proviso that the practice complies with appropriate PPE, cross infection control, precautionary measures to manage aerosol generating procedures and implementation of effective social distancing within the practice. Although we appreciate that you, our patients, have been very patient throughout the course of the COVID-19 pan...demic lockdown and that you are anxious to continue with treatment as soon as possible, we endeavour to first put effective strategies in place. We ask for your continuing patience whilst we prepare to open and operate the practice in a way that is safe for patients and staff. As soon as it is possible, we will contact you with proposed appointments and advise on how the practice will operate. CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION Please read the information below regarding steps we are taking regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. YOUR health & safety are our priority as well as keeping our team healthy to meet your Orthodontic needs.... We are incorporating the following into our routine: Being extra careful with our hand hygiene and personal protective equipment. Reducing the number of staff in direct contact with you. Asking our staff to self isolate inline with Public Health England for coughs, high temperatures and breathlessness. Also if a member of their household has these symptoms. We would appreciate it if you could assist us by: All patients over the age of 16 years attending their appointments alone. All patients under 16 years to only attend with one guardian accompanying the patient please. No children in the practice under 18 years unless you're the patient. Taking extra special care of your braces to prevent any extra appointments. Inline with Public Health England, patients need to reschedule their appointments if they have a cough, high temperature or are breathless. Also if a family member of your household has these symptoms, please self isolate for 14 days. We will take this into consideration and provide the soonest available appointment once you are well again. If you have travelled abroad in the last 14 days or been in close contact with someone with confirmed Coronavirus please check the gov.uk (https://www.gov.uk//coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-/) website for the latest COVID-19 travel advice. You may need to call NHS 111 for further advice before making or attending your appointment. Please let us know if you or a family member has travelled abroad in the last 3 weeks. As a team, we commit to standardise all infection control and personal protective protocols and to avoid cross contamination of any virus, to us and our patients. Please be aware that in these extraordinary circumstances we are trying to offer you a continuous orthodontic treatment, but this may not always be possible and we may need to change appointments frequently dependent on staffing levels. If you are unable to attend appointments due to self distancing, please let us know and we will try our utmost to meet your orthodontic needs. Thank you.

To all our Patients and Parents attending the New Patient Clinics on the 15th and 17th April. Please be aware that next week will be very busy! Please make sure that you have your medical history questionnaires filled in, (we cannot see you without them and it may delay your appointment.)... Parking will be very limited. Please use the Car Parks on the Addenbrookes site which are within easy walking distance. All late arrivals will still be seen but you may have to wait until a space on the day becomes available.
