You may have seen from our Instagram snippets of what the leadership and management team got up to yesterday afternoon. You may be wondering what exactly did we get up to? ... In the clip below you will see Charlotte and Richard demonstrating ‘ the sensitivity test’, this test is to work out the sensitivity of the individual wearing the mask to work out which fit test’ is appropriate to complete. ... ‘The Fit tests’ purpose is to ensure masks are fitted to the individuals features correctly achieving a good seal between the facepiece of the respirator and the wearer’s face. If the seal is inadequate, contaminated air will take the path of least resistance and will travel through leaks in the face seal. Consequently, a poor seal to the face will reduce the level of protection provided to the wearer. Information is ever-changing during these uncertain times, however, we are committed to our employees and our patients care and will continue to keep up to date with the latest requirements of what maybe to come.

We are continuing to follow guidance provided by the Welsh Government regarding COVID-19 Red phase. Currently guidance from the Welsh Chief Dental Officer states that dental practices are to remain open to triage dental emergencies via telephone and to prescribe antibiotics if necessary. We continue to follow this guidance and endeavour to provide our patients with any updates with regards to resuming normal practice in the near future....
